Cabo

This is my last post! The final destination I will be talking about is Cabo. In my California post, I had already mentioned that I will be visiting Cabo in March. I am going with a friend of mine and her family during spring break! I am super excited because I have never been to Cabo before. If you didn’t know, Cabo is a city in Mexico that is on the left side of the country. It is a popular place for tourists to visit because of the weather and pretty views.

The official name of the city is Cabo San Lucas, but it is more commonly known as Cabo. It is a resort city on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula of Mexico. It was rated as one of the top five places to tour in Mexico, probably because of its beautiful beaches.

There are many variations of transport in the city that include cruise ships, airplanes, and air taxi services. Some locals mostly use buses which can be used by tourists as well. My friend and I will be going on a cruise ship which is a popular choice for most tourists.

Smooth Hammerhead        Striped Marlin        Roosterfish

We will be visiting the beaches and seeing the ocean from the ship. Cabo holds a range of marine life in the ocean, including rays, sharks, and many different types of fish. In the Sea of Cortez, the sea between the peninsula and the mainland, you can find different types of rays such as the Chilean devil ray and Spinetail mobula. Also, there is a cool attraction held in Cabo where you can swim freely with the sharks. A few sharks that you may see are blue sharks, silky sharks, and smooth hammerheads. Different types of fish in Cabo San Lucas include the Striped Marlin and Roosterfish.
